Eggs
Our Eggs are from free
range hens. The farm is only 1 mile from this shop. The hens are fed wheat meal
from a local mill; these eggs are produced to lion code and freedom food
standards and printed for full traceability, our eggs are never more than a week
old.
Bacon + Sausages
Our bacon and sausages
are made from local Blythburgh free range pork. The pigs live all the life
outside and are reared to a very high welfare standard. They are slow grown for
a succulent and tasty flavour.
Bread
Our bread is baked
locally by Stradbroke Bakery, 5 miles away. Stradbroke Bakery is a family owned craft
bakery offering an extensive range of bread and confectionery products. Their
broad range of confectionery products are unsurpassed in the region and their
bread is produced and baked using only traditional methods without the use of
additives and preservatives.
Milk + Cream
Our milk and cream
is locally sourced and bottled by Mary Belle Dairy farm, Walpole near Halesworth 12.8 miles
away.
Mushrooms
Beautiful fresh mushrooms
are grown at our very own local mushroom farm in the next village of Flixton,
famous for their large flat mushrooms
Fruit and vegetables
Our fruit and vegetables
are soured locally as much as possible. Some of it is grown by Clinks Care Farm
in Toft Monks 9 miles away. Check our black board for what is in season.
